About the role

Under the general direction of the Presiding Workers' Compensation Judge and the Supervising Workers' Compensation Consultant, the Workers' Compensation Consultant assists parties, whether represented by counsel or not, by providing general public information concerning workers' compensation benefits and procedures.

Working Conditions

This job is located at 2550 Mariposa Mall, Suite 4078, Fresno, CA 93721. The incumbent will work 40 hours per week in an office setting equipped with standard office equipment, in an air-conditioned high-rise building with elevator access, and a cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. Once formal training has concluded, part-time telework may be offered upon approval by the supervisor and consistent with DIR's Telework Policy.

Pay

  • Workers' Compensation Consultant: $6,646.00 - $8,324.00 (new to State candidates hired at minimum salary)
  • Shall Consider - Workers' Compensation Assistant: $3,861.00 - $4,839.00 (Range A), $4,181.00 - $5,233.00 (Range B), $5,014.00 - $6,276.00 (Range C)

Department Information
