About the role
The role is responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices and payments according to company policy and legal requirements.
- Verify accuracy of invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Monitor accounts payable and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare reports on financial transactions for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts payable or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
