Influencer & Events Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Influencer Strategy - 40%
    • Manage influencer program across celebrity, nano, macro, mid-tier to increase awareness and affinity for the brand
    • Actively source, evaluate, pitch and negotiate strong partnerships with influencers and ambassadors
    • Lead outreach, negotiation, contract development and final execution
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, such as the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines
    • Manage influencer marketing budget and invoice tracking
    • Support key cross-functional partners like retail, DTC, and social on influencer requests
    • Identify top UGC for reposting and paid initiatives
    • Ensure an up to date content library featuring core or new launches content that can be repurposed across various marketing touchpoints
    • Work with Senior Brand Manager and social team to support team's IRL activations
    • Oversee guests lists and manage influencer led coverage
    • Conduct competitive analysis while staying updated with current trends
  • Event Management - 40%
    • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of Apothékary's community and VIP event programming, including influencer dinners, wellness activations, press moments, and retail partner events
    • Ideate and develop event concepts that reflect the brand's Japanese wellness heritage and modern aesthetic, creating experiences that feel distinctly Apothékary
    • Research and secure venues, vendors, and partners; manage all logistics from initial brief through post-event wrap-up
    • Negotiate financial terms, deliverables, and timelines with third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution within budget
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on messaging, promotional timelines, and on-site content capture; coordinate closely with the social team to ensure every event is documented and amplified
    • Develop pre-event briefs and run-of-show documents; serve as the primary on-site point of contact during activations
  • Ambassador Program Management - 20%
    • Manage our affiliate program, Superfiliate
      • Accept new applications and work with our email and social team to promote our program and encourage new sign ups
      • Facilitate regular communications within the affiliate and influencer community, sharing updates, opportunities, and best practices
      • Build a program that feels like a community and incentivizes people to post our products organically
      • Maintain co-branded landing pages with relevant copy and messaging
      • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize engagement and outreach strategies
      • Report on monthly performance tracking to evaluate the effectiveness of the affiliate program

    Requirements

    • Remote role, but must be based within commuting distance of NYC for onsite event support and quarterly meetings
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field is preferred
    • At least 2+ years of previous work experience in brand marketing and/or experiential marketing with a proven ability to create an impactful event from start to finish
    • Collaborative, hands-on, and willing to support all aspects of event delivery
    • Creative, analytical thinker and creative problem solver that thrives in fast paced environment
    • Passionate about storytelling through brand marketing
    • Passionate about health and wellness industry
    • Detail oriented with ability to take initiative, prioritize, multitask, and work independently
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite or related software
