Influencer/Creator Marketing Manager
Regular, full-time position based in-office 5 days per week (1st shift).
About the role
The Influencer/Creator Marketing Manager will lead the strategy, development, execution, and optimization of influencer and creator marketing programs that support brand and business objectives. This role is responsible for building and scaling a best-in-class creator ecosystem that drives measurable business impact across the consumer journey, with a heavy focus on mid- and lower-funnel performance outcomes.
The ideal candidate will champion an always-on creator content ecosystem, leveraging strategic influencer partnerships to deliver authentic, relevant, social-first content at scale. By combining forward-thinking strategy, innovative creator engagement, and performance measurement, they will establish influencer marketing as a critical growth driver and a highly efficient marketing channel.
This role will demonstrate how creator-led content can accelerate speed-to-market, improve content efficiency, and consistently deliver best-in-class creative that drives meaningful mid- and lower-funnel business outcomes, including engagement, consideration, conversion, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of multiple concurrent social media and/or influencer marketing campaigns and programs in alignment with enterprise and line of business strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Oversee execution of content calendars, creative processes, legal/compliance/risk review processes, paid media strategies, measurement, and reporting for all active campaigns.
- Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness, consideration, and conversion through various social media channels, media plans, and creative executions.
- Ensure brand visual and voice consistency across all social media and/or influencer marketing executions, including multi-cultural campaigns.
- Develop and deploy actionable plans to evolve, grow, and optimize channel presence and engagement.
- Deliver strategic recommendations for innovative social media and/or influencer marketing tactics, initiatives, and tech solutions.
- Build and maintain partnerships with senior leaders across marketing and the enterprise, as well as with social media channel and agency partners.
- Lead end-to-end crisis and incident protocols response when needed.
- Manage a team, including agency partners, responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that support brand and business campaign goals.
- Deliver effective and efficient strategies for media planning, audience targeting, channel mix, creative, optimization, measurement, and reporting to execute best-in-class social media and/or influencer marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent education and related training.
- Seven years of related influencer/creator and/or social media experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the marketing, social media, and influencer marketing discipline.
- Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes.
- Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure, in addition to leading a team of professionals.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.
- Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
- Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective.
- Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry.
- Expertise with social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, SnapChat, YouTube, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services or related industry experience.
- Integrated marketing and digital marketing experience.
- Multi-cultural marketing experience.
- Experience with delivering national and/or global social media and influencer marketing campaigns.
