Overview Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Infection Control Infection Preventionist Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM. Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient safety focused on organization-wide infection surveillance, control and prevention program.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare-related field of study. Education may be substituted for relevant experience in accordance to policy
• Three (3) years of directly related experience
• Preferred: A Certified Infection Control Practitioner is preferred. If not certified, must complete annual Infection Control Training.
