Responsibilities

- Consultation
- Staff education
- Supporting the Hospital Infection Prevention Program
- Enhancing patient outcomes across clinical areas
- Serving as the Infection Prevention Officer
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field
- At least 2 years of experience in nursing or an acute care setting
- Additional relevant experience or training may substitute for education
- 3+ years of Infection Preventionist experience is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
