Infection Preventionist - Infection Control - Day

Role: Infection Preventionist responsible for infection prevention activities including surveillance, investigation, data analysis, consultation, and education. Serves as the Infection Prevention Officer to support the Hospital Infection Prevention Program and improve patient outcomes across clinical areas. Responsibilities: Conduct infection surveillance, investigate infection cases, analyze data to identify trends, provide consultation, and educate staff on infection control practices. Support program development and ensure compliance with health standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field with at least 2 years of experience in nursing or acute care; 3+ years of infection prevention experience preferred. Additional relevant experience or training may substitute educational requirements. Skills & Certifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross required.
