You would be implementing the Infection Prevention & Control program to minimize the acquisition and spread of infection in patients and personnel What you will doServe as an expert in infection prevention and control and a consultant and resource for departments and hospital personnel in matters of infection prevention and control Educate concerning matters of infection prevention and control and infectionsTeach residents and medical students rotating on the Infectious Disease serviceConduct research studies in the fields of Infectious Disease and Epidemiology Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Microbiology, Epidemiology or related field3 years' clinical experience in a hospital, laboratory, infection prevention or epidemiologyIF Medical Technologist: American Society of Clinical Pathologists [MT (ASCP)] or Microbiology certification by ASCP, ASM or HEWCertification in Infection Control (CIC) highly desiredBasic knowledge of statistics and epidemiologic methods At Trinity Health Of New England, we understand that the success of our organization is directly related to our hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated colleagues who contribute their time and skills to help transform healthcare. Pay Range: $36.40 - $58.25 per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
