Role: Infection Preventionist responsible for overseeing infection control within a healthcare facility. Key Responsibilities: Conduct surveillance for communicable diseases, monitor infection trends, investigate infection clusters, perform prevention rounds, and collaborate with departments to implement risk mitigation strategies. Maintain regulatory compliance, communicate with public health authorities, develop policies, and provide education and training to staff. Handle infection control related investigations, work with Employee Health, and participate in on-call duties. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, or Public Health; Master's preferred. 2+ years of relevant experience, knowledge of infection control standards, strong communication, leadership, and organization skills. Certification in Infection Control (CIC) within two years of hire required.
