Job Summary

Norwichtown is seeking a dedicated and skilled Infection Control Wound RN to join their team at their facility in Norwich, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Develop and implement infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assess, treat, and manage wounds in patients, including selecting and applying wound care products, performing debridement, and educating patients on wound care techniques.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut, with valid certification in wound care and infection control.
