Infect Prevent and Control Spec
Performs surveillance and reporting of healthcare-associated infections and promotes safe infection prevention and control practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance and reporting of healthcare-associated infections.
- Promote and implement safe infection prevention and control practices.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, medical technology, public health, epidemiology, microbiology, or a natural sciences field (required for certification in infection prevention and control).
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Infection Control Certification.

Pay
$39.14 to $58.71 per hour, based on experience.
