Infant & Toddler Teachers (Multiple Positions)
About the role
Child Start is actively recruiting for multiple openings in their early Head Start classrooms serving children ages 0-3. Positions are available across Sedgwick County and are full-time career opportunities for dedicated early childhood professionals.
Responsibilities
- Encourage children to try new learning activities.
- Assess each child's development initially and update assessments throughout the school year.
- Review the curriculum continually and write weekly lesson plans that incorporate all areas of child development (social/emotional development, physical and cognitive language development).
Requirements
- Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
Qualifications
- In compliance with KDHE requirements, Child Start will request proof of measles (MMR) vaccination or documented immunity during the employment process.
Skills
- Ability to work with children aged 0-3.
