Infant Toddler Teacher (Union City, CA, USA)

Qualifications & Qualities

• Passionate and love to have fun with kids
• Infant/Toddler units required
• Preferred 1-2 years experience in early childcare teaching young children
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Team player, positive role model, strong work ethic and take-charge attitude
• Strong customer service skills with an ability to build strong relationships with parents & co-workers
• Self-motivated, responsible, driven and works well with minimal supervision
• Organized good time management skills, Independent, creative, fun-loving and kind

General Responsibilities

• Follow and implement pre-developed lessons plans
• Maintaining appropriate records
• Maintaining a clean, healthy, stimulating environment for the children to learn in.
• Providing proper supervision at all times
• Maintaining appropriate records
• Teaching and guiding the children in their classroom
• Work independently and with other teachers
• Update parents about their child’s progress
• Communicating necessary information to the child, other teachers, parents, the Director or authorities.

Compensation and Benefits

• $23-$28 per hour depending on qualifications and experience

Requirements

• 12 units of Early Childhood Education with Infant/Toddler course completed
• Fingerprint Background Clearance
• First Aid and CPR certified / Negative TB test and immunization records
• Positive attitude toward learning, communicating, parents, and children
• Understanding of educational techniques and methods for teaching young children

Only candidates Legally Authorized to work in the US (without sponsorship) may apply. This is a full-time position but we can also accept part-time positions from 2 pm - 6 pm.
