Job Summary

Pre-school Education Teacher We are seeking a vibrant preschool teacher to educate, care for, and inspire the young minds at our preschool.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and performance of curriculum within the preschool classroom at their facility to a TRS 4-star level;
  • Collaborate with the Program Director at their facility to deliver strong leadership and execution of site-level priorities and programmatic objectives;
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom where everyone feels valued and respected.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and serve as a positive role model for staff.
  • Manage activities like lessons, play, breaks, and meals

Qualifications

  • Child Development Associate degree or equivalent in education or a related field;
  • 3+ years of experience as a Pre-School or Pre-K Education in an early childhood education;
  • 3+ years total experience onsite in a Texas-licensed early education center;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum implementation, classroom preparation and management, and age-appropriate conscious discipline;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accreditations, including Texas Rising Star and National Association for the Education of Young Children;
  • Demonstrated ability to execute classroom observations, assessments, development plans;
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and partnership skills with other site level administration;
  • Ability to analyze and interpret student data to inform instructional decisions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
