About the role

The Goddard School seeks an Early Childhood Educator to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster early learning, create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment for infants, conduct regular assessments of children's development and progress, communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth and daily activities, collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the educational experience, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times, encourage socialization and emotional development through play and interaction, attend staff meetings and professional development workshops regularly, and provide high-quality care for infants.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment for infants.
• Conduct regular assessments of children's development and progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth and daily activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the educational experience.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Encourage socialization and emotional development through play and interaction.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops regularly.

Requirements

• A high school diploma required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with infants or in a childcare setting preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or willing to obtain.
