About the role
The Goddard School in Springboro is seeking a full-time teacher for their Infant program. The facility is a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. building with 10 classrooms, a half-court gym, gross motor room, and three separate playgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Follow state and Goddard regulations
- Implement lesson plans in academic and enrichment subject areas
- Work with assistant teachers
- Communicate with parents
- Maintain an aesthetically pleasing classroom environment
- Lift up to 25 pounds
- Sustain high levels of activity
- Bend, stoop, and sit on the floor
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a center or group atmosphere
- CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Positive energy and enthusiasm about early childhood education
- Focus on teamwork and customer service
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- High level of physical activity
- Skills in classroom management using developmentally appropriate practices
