Infant Teacher

About This Role

Timberline Learning Center in Breckenridge, CO is seeking a qualified Infant Teacher to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2) in a center-based environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

What You'll Do

• Create a safe and supportive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
• Contribute to the development of a responsive and inclusive classroom.
• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher to plan and implement curriculum.

Requirements

• Ability to pass comprehensive background check (fingerprinting and child abuse registry)
• Demonstrated flexibility, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills
• Full-time, year-round availability
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and digital)
• Stable housing in Summit County or surrounding areas
• Growth mindset with commitment to ongoing professional development

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field
• Minimum one year of experience working with infants and toddlers (ages 0-3)
• COLORADO SHINES PDIS Level 2 Credential or above
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience with Reggio Emilia Approach, Project Approach, or play-based learning philosophies
