Infant Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated infant assistant teacher to join our early childhood education team. We are looking for someone who will provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily care of infants, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Engage infants in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Support lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom routines.
• Maintain open and positive communication with parents and caregivers regarding their child’s progress and needs.
• Ensure compliance with Texas state regulations and childcare licensing standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required;
• Previous experience in early childhood education or infant care is a plus
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a physically active environment
