About This Role

This Infant Teacher position at Golden Path Academy in Stephenson, VA offers $12.50 – $15/Hr. Candidates should bring relevant professional experience and a reliable work ethic in a childcare facility environment.

What You'll Do

• Join our amazing team as a Lead Teacher and provide top-notch developmental care and supervision to children at our center.
• Create and maintain a safe, organized, and supportive learning environment that fosters positive relationships with children, co-teachers, and parents.
• Model excellent childcare practices, establish trust, and communicate effectively with parents through a school-provided application.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of our young learners.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Track individual child progress and prepare bi-annual progress reports.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate effectively with them daily.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have fulfilled a high school program or its equivalent
• And must meet *one* of the following:
• Have 48 semester hours of college credit, including 12 hours in child-related subjects, and one year of program experience
• Have a bachelor's degree in a child-related field
• Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training
• Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA
