Infant Assistant Teacher - North Canton Child Development Center

In search of an Infant Assistant Teacher who has a passion for working with infants and their families in a caring, educational setting rooted in the mission of the YMCA, a non-profit, charity organization.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM – 6:30 PM
• Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Serve as a caring adult presence for children ages six weeks to twelve months by inspiring learning that promotes a child's physical, social, and cognitive development.
• Work cooperatively with the Lead Teacher in implementing and developing daily lessons and activities that meet the needs of the group.
• Build relationships with parents and other adults to foster a supportive environment for each child.
• Be part of an amazing team of staff focused on supporting children as they grow and learn.
• Execute State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements to provide a quality care environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Completed high school or GED program
• Ability to pass a background check and physical

Pay

$12.30/hour
