Infant and Toddler Teacher- First Flight Child Development Center

About the role

This position is at First Flight Child Development Center, part of La Petite Academy. As an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for caring for and educating infants and toddlers.

Responsibilities

• Carefully follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Implement our proprietary curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

Requirements

• At least 6 months experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
• A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
• The ability to meet state requirements for background, immunization, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.

Skills

• Caring and attentive to the needs of infants and toddlers.
• Ability to develop and implement educational lesson plans.
• Knowledge of child care, preschool, and development topics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Compensation range of $20.68-$21.48 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.

Schedule

Monday-Friday work week.
