About the role
This position is at First Flight Child Development Center, part of La Petite Academy. As an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for caring for and educating infants and toddlers.
Responsibilities
- Carefully follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
- Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
- Implement our proprietary curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.
Requirements
- At least 6 months experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
- A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
- The ability to meet state requirements for background, immunization, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
- Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
Skills
- Caring and attentive to the needs of infants and toddlers.
- Ability to develop and implement educational lesson plans.
- Knowledge of child care, preschool, and development topics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Compensation range of $20.68-$21.48 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
Schedule
Monday-Friday work week.
