Infant Aide or Assistant Teacher for licensed Childcare

Full-time (32-40 hours/week) position at our licensed childcare center in Wayzata, providing Montessori education to infants in a Christian environment.

Join our team in supporting infants as they learn to feed themselves, put themselves to sleep, sit up, crawl, walk, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a child’s foundational development.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed, responsible, and timely care adapted to children’s varied needs
• Maintain a kind yet firm approach with clear boundaries
• Offer nurturing, gentle, and caring support to infants and toddlers
• Multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or some college in a child-related field
• Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable
• Familiarity with the needs of infants and toddlers
• Experience in a licensed childcare setting (preferred)
• For Assistant Teacher roles: minimum of 12 college credits in early childhood education or a similar field

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 4:30 PM (or Tuesday–Thursday, depending on needs)
• Opportunities to pick up additional shifts if desired

Pay

Compensation starts at $16/hour for Aide and $18/hour for Assistant Teacher, depending on education and experience. Training in Montessori classroom leading may be available.
