About the Company

INEOS is one of the world's largest chemical producers, founded in 1998 by Sir Jim Ratcliffe through a management buyout of BP's Antwerp site. The company employs around 26,000 people across 190+ sites and generates approximately $65 billion in annual revenue.

Ownership is highly concentrated: Sir Jim Ratcliffe holds the majority stake, with directors Andy Currie and John Reece each holding roughly 20%. The three have led the business together since its founding.

INEOS is also known for its sporting ventures, including OGC Nice, INEOS Grenadiers, INEOS Britannia (America's Cup), a stake in Mercedes-AMG F1, and a ~28% ownership of Manchester United acquired in February 2024.

Fleet Information

The INEOS flight department, Hampshire Aviation LLP, operates three Gulfstream G600s registered on the Isle of Man: M-AMBA, M-ANTA, and M-INKE. Additionally, Ratcliffe's personal Gulfstream G650ER, M-OVIE, is held through the same entity. The G600s are used as a shared corporate fleet, with no public assignment to individual shareholders.

Typical flight patterns include routes between the Isle of Man and Hampshire bases to destinations such as Nice, Monaco, Geneva, Farnborough, Luton, and Manchester.
