Responsibilities

• Run stakeholder workshops and interviews to capture critical system and technical specifications
• Contribute in design alternatives evaluation using advanced engineering tools, to achieve consensus on optimal approaches and create detailed design concepts for components and/or systems
• Leverage feedback from testing and user interactions, to develop and assess prototypes in ensure alignment with project goals
• Develop specialized solution specifications for engineering projects and run advanced testing to ensure solutions meet technical and performance requirements
• Execute prototyping efforts, applying expertise to model design concepts, and lead testing and feedback synthesis to refine prototypes
• Run integration projects, solving complex technical challenges and enhance system functionality, through usage of engineering tools and methodologies
• Optimize system performance through targeted tuning, improving efficiency and addressing reliability concerns
• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer sessions, ensuring thorough understanding of engineering outcomes across teams

Required skills and experience

• Hands on experience connecting or working with manufacturing equipment data, telemetry, or IIoT sources
• Ability to transform raw machine/process data into actionable insights, not just dashboards
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools used in manufacturing or industrial contexts
• Comfort working across OT, IT, engineering, and operations in a plant environment
• Proven ability to operate independently in a contract role with minimal direction

Preferred skills and experience

• Exposure to reliability, asset performance, predictive maintenance, or process monitoring use cases
• Familiarity with structured deployment playbooks, continuous improvement cadences, and sustainment models

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
