Industrialization Laboratory Technician

About the role

The Industrialization Laboratory Technician will be part of the Kaizen Promotion Office at Unox S.p.A., a market leader in high-end oven production and certified as one of the top work environments in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Governance of the KPO-LAB warehouse, including coding some components, location management, stock sizing, order replenishment for materials already managed, and acquisition and storage of new components/materials.
• Study of new layouts for the KPO-LAB spaces, evaluating all requirements in terms of 4M+E.
• Analyze potential technological needs that require the introduction of new tools or machines into the KPO-LAB and subsequent selection of these for purchase.
• Plan activities for the KPO-LAB to construct equipment, machines, and systems designed by other areas of the team (KPO-IND and KPO T&A).
• Plan activities for the KPO-LAB to maintain existing equipment, machines, and systems used in production facilities.
• Collaborate in the design phase of equipment, machines, and systems with other team areas (KPO-IND and KPO T&A), assessing their feasibility in relation to available technologies (machinery, tools, standard components) in the KPO-LAB.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an ITS diploma in Mechatronics.
• Favorable interest in Process Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience in process engineering is considered a plus.
• Previous technical design experience is considered a plus.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position, based on the required 0-1 year of experience, is €28,800 to €30,000.
