Industrial Welder

About the role

This role plays a critical part in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping systems and equipment used in industrial and sanitary processing environments.

Responsibilities

• Welding and assembling piping systems and equipment
• Maintaining and repairing existing piping systems and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial or sanitary welding
• Knowledge of OSHA and ANSI standards

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Skills

• Proficient in oxy-acetylene and MIG/TIG welding
• Familiarity with pipe fitting and layout
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT)
