About the role
This role plays a critical part in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping systems and equipment used in industrial and sanitary processing environments.
Responsibilities
- Welding and assembling piping systems and equipment
- Maintaining and repairing existing piping systems and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial or sanitary welding
- Knowledge of OSHA and ANSI standards
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Skills
- Proficient in oxy-acetylene and MIG/TIG welding
- Familiarity with pipe fitting and layout
- Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT)
