Industrial Welder

Duties

• Give time constraints to all work procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
• Clean work areas and equipment.
• Maintain precision in TIGClean operations and replace expendable machine parts as necessary.
• Record relevant information such as the number of products tested, production readings, and dates and times of product production.
• Start machines or equipment to initiate production processes.
• Separate products based on weight, grade, size, and composition of materials used.
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
• Remove products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines; pack and store materials and products.
• Tie products in bundles according to prescribed procedures.
• Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Signal coworkers to direct them during the production process.
• Prepare raw materials for processing; measure amounts and lengths, ensuring compliance with specifications; read gauges and charts, and record data.
