Industrial Truck Mechanics earn a top hourly base rate of $44.635, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. The starting rate is $44.435, with pay increases to the top rate after three consecutive months of employment.

Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain all powered industrial vehicles in the plant (Yale forklifts, Cushman carriers, and carts).
- Repair and maintain Cummins diesel pumps.
- Maintain PMHV batteries and battery chargers.
- Repair and maintain fire pumps in the plant.
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to work any assigned schedule, change shifts, work more than 8 hours per day, and/or work overtime while maintaining good attendance.
- Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures, work in a team environment, treat co-workers with dignity and respect, and accept instructions from leadership.
- Ability to understand and follow oral or written instructions.
- Ability to perform trade tasks, stand for extended periods, walk unassisted, work at heights, work overhead (including on ladders and platforms), and use tools typical of the trade.
- Tasks may require reaching, lifting, twisting, bending, and operating powered industrial vehicles (PMHV or hilo).
- Ability to perceive differences in details and prints related to the trade.
- Must be able to maneuver effectively around vehicles, equipment, assembly lines, and facility.
Qualifications
- Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship, or
- 8 years of previous experience, or
- A combination of work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship in the trade.
- Mechanical background with experience in electrical diagnosis, parts repair, or replacement on forklifts and burden carriers.
Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen (THC not included), physical, and background check is required.
