Clamp Truck Operator - Kansas City

Safety Orientation

The first two weeks of orientation will be on 1st shift (7am-3pm). After orientation, you will be assigned your permanent 3rd shift.

About the Role

Georgia-Pacific is seeking safety-oriented individuals to join our team as a 3rd shift Clamp Truck Operator in our Kansas City, MO Facility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down clamp truck to load and unload trailers
• Unload railcars in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking
• Accurately record all inbound and outbound shipments
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Maintain a safe work environment by removing debris from warehouse areas
• Promote and adhere to safe work practices and safety rules and regulations
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, stooping, standing, and sitting for up to 12 hours per day
• Maintain quality of product in warehouse areas and warehouse inventory

Requirements

Candidates must be flexible and available to work first, second, or third shift as needed. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience using a clamp truck to load and unload trailers
• Experience in a manufacturing, military, landscaping, carpentry, construction, warehouse, production, or farming environment

Skills

Experience working in the corrugated industry is preferred at Koch companies.

Pay

$26.75 per hour with a 3rd shift differential of $2.00 per hour.

Schedule

3rd shift: Monday - Friday 11pm-7am; weekends and overtime as needed.
