Industrial Tool Specialist

About the role

The Industrial Tool Specialist is responsible for generating profitable sales from the rental of Industrial Tool equipment to new regional customers. This role focuses on developing and maximizing market share within the industrial segment, with a strong emphasis on growing revenue and profitability for Industrial Tool Locations in the Industrial Services Region.

Responsibilities

• Establish district and regional goals and objectives to grow Industrial Tool revenue opportunities within the industrial sector.
• Develop and implement strategies to identify revenue opportunities within the industrial sector to meet district and/or regional goals.
• Grow revenue within the Industrial Tool categories/classes of equipment by prospecting and obtaining new customers.
• Identify customer fleet, quality, and safety expectations and provide direction for implementation in purchasing, equipment maintenance, and on-site project management.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities, understanding market dynamics, customer segmentation, and key customers.
• Develop operational efficiencies for outages and turnarounds, working alongside Industrial Services Project Managers to implement best practices during on-site project execution.
• Stay updated on changing safety requirements within industrial plants and facilities.
• Communicate with other Industrial Tool Specialists to share leads, ideas, and opportunities.
• Integrate assigned Industrial National Accounts and/or Master Service Agreements within the Industrial Services Region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of direct sales and/or project management experience within the heavy equipment industry.
• Industrial Tool equipment background preferred.
• Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills.
• Results-driven sales professional with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively give presentations and business reviews to management.
• Working knowledge of different phases of industrial construction and maintenance, equipment applications, features, benefits, operation, and specifications.
• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and ability.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple opportunities and clients concurrently.

Pay

Base pay range: $42,000.00 - $68,581.80. Total compensation includes base pay, a company vehicle, and a robust commission plan. Starting rate may vary based on factors such as location, education, training, and experience.
