About the role

This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimized. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain all assigned equipment according to specifications to reduce downtime and costs.
• Maintain working knowledge of assigned equipment and processes to ensure preventive maintenance and repairs are completed to standards.
• Communicate project status and concerns with the team using visual tools and complete accurate, timely logs and reports.
• Perform job functions safely, complying with all equipment safety protocols, and maintain a safe, productive work environment.
• Track and manage maintenance parts inventory, ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Two to four years of vocational training or equivalent experience in industrial manufacturing or distribution maintenance, with knowledge of electrical distribution, controls, electronics, instrumentation, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and follow schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with HVAC, welding, instrumentation, PLC, and automation systems preferred.
• Physical ability to stoop, bend, reach above head, and lift 60 pounds routinely and 100 pounds occasionally.
• Availability for shift work, weekends, holidays, emergency call-outs, overtime, and on-call response nights and weekends as needed.
