Industrial SVC Tire Press Technician

Job Summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking an Industrial Tire Press Technician. This position involves working both on and offsite in a company-provided mobile service truck and/or industrial press trailer, focusing on replacing, inspecting, repairing, properly mounting/dismounting, and pressing of all industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper and safe handling of customer equipment according to OSHA Standards
• Mount/dismount various sizes/types of industrial tires, utilizing a Hydraulic 200 Ton Press Machine
• Conduct Commercial, OTR, Agriculture, and Forestry service work, as needed
• Perform different tire repairs with plugs and plug patch combos
• May be required to travel 75% of the time geographically to customer and company locations

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record
• Valid Driver's License and must be insurable to drive by company standards
• 1+ years experience in a similar role
• DOT Medical Certification
• Commercial and OTR TIA Certification (required after six months of employment)

Skills and Abilities

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate service equipment
• Excellent customer service, communication skills, and high level of attention to detail
• Follow safety protocols and company policies
• Ability to work a rotating, on call schedule to include nights and weekend shifts
• Pass background check and drug screen
