About the role

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Project Architect who can leverage their technical expertise to deliver projects across various markets and building types. This role involves working with project managers to plan, design, document, and oversee construction of diverse facilities including data centers, water treatment plants, manufacturing plants, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Lead owner/client and internal meetings and reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
  • Manage and coordinate project teams with varying levels of experience to ensure successful completion of construction documents and milestones.
  • Independently coordinate multidisciplinary teams through all phases of a project.
  • Perform QA/QC and cross-discipline technical reviews.
  • Write and edit architectural specifications.
  • Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addendums, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders.
  • Incorporate agreed-upon changes into project documents.
  • Provide construction observation and contract administration as needed.
  • Conduct work sessions at the project site with Client Representatives, Project Managers, and other disciplines.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Architecture with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industrial architecture.
  • LEED Accreditation with experience and/or interest in sustainable design.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • Experience facilitating meetings with a range of stakeholders, including engineers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, AHJs, etc.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu.

Preferred Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required due to client contract requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a Registered Architect.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project Schedule).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using Autodesk Revit and related tools and processes.
  • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
  • Experience in preparing and laying out architectural contract documents and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of codes and good planning skills.
