Department: OperationsLocation: Fall River, MACompensation: $28.00 - $34.00 / hour Description About The Role: Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), a leading defense technology company, is seeking an Industrial Security Operations Intern to be part of our Security and Facilities team and based out of our Arlington, VA, Fall River, MA, San Diego, CA or Mt. Laurel, NJ location. Industrial Security Operations Interns work alongside our Facility Security Officer team to assist candidate will assist in protecting our DOD facilities, personnel and systems in accordance with Government requirements issued in 32 CFR 117 directives. Clearance & Location Requirements:All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.This is a fully on-site position based out of our Arlington, VA, Fall River, MA, San Diego, CA or Mount. Laurel, NJ location. Key Responsibilities What You Will Do: Assists day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks to ensure the classified labs and office run smoothlyAssists with scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and preparing meeting materials for both classified and unclassified operationsManages incoming visitor procedures related to company meetings and software demonstrationsInvolved with office supply inventory, ordering, and organization.Provides unclassified and classified operations security supportManages receipt and dispatch for incoming and outgoing mail packagesMaintain, track and audit inventory materials associated with contracts, and information systemsSupports onboarding logistics for new employeesAssists with employee and visitor badging, ensuring proper access and adherence to office security proceduresCoordinates and escorts vendors onsite, ensuring appropriate access and directed to the correct areasPrepare and manage security training and briefings for all employeesCoordinate new employee clearance processSupport the FSO with various compliance assessmentsRevise and validate process and proceduresLearn and operate the inventory management system Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Who You Are (Required):Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program with a major in Business Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, International Studies or related fieldCurrent college juniors/rising seniors preferred.What Makes You Stand Out:Advanced Microsoft Office SkillsDetail orientedInitiative, creativity, reliability, teamwork, and collaborationSolid analytical abilities, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.If you see yourself reflected in this role and are excited about the impact you could make, we encourage you to apply!
