Industrial Security Manager - Level 2

About the role

The Industrial Security Manager – Level 2 will serve as a Special Security Manager and oversee all security activities and operations for the special program portfolio. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Responsibilities

• Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
• Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
• Prepare manuals outlining regulations, establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and grant personnel and visitors access to restricted documents and materials
• Develop and implement security education program
• Oversee internal security audits
• Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken
• Provide direction to security team members to assist with executing their statement of work
• Aid in team members' professional development and growth
• Lead a team of security professionals to consistently apply the leadership characteristics expected of all employees within the organization
• Ensure employee engagement across the team
• Collaborate across teams within the organization
• Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels
• Develop and implement security policy and standards across the programs
• Ensure all program performance objectives, as well as key milestones and deliverables, are met
• Manage program security compliance and operations

Requirements

This position requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance with a CI Polygraph at time of application. Minimum of two years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience is required. Must have in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience
• Additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00
