About the role

The Industrial Security Manager – Level 2 will serve as a Special Security Manager and oversee all security activities and operations for the special program portfolio. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Responsibilities

  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
  • Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified and proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
  • Develop and implement security education program
  • Oversee internal security audits
  • Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken
  • Provide direction to security team members to assist with executing their statement of work
  • Aid in team members' professional development and growth
  • Lead a team of security professionals to consistently apply the leadership characteristics expected of all employees within the organization
  • Ensure employee engagement across the team
  • Collaborate across teams within the organization
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels
  • Develop and implement security policy and standards across the programs
  • Ensure all program performance objectives, as well as key milestones and deliverables, are met
  • Manage program security compliance and operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience
  • Additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance with a CI Polygraph at time of application
  • Minimum of two years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience
  • In-depth knowledge and familiarity with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Enabling effective communication with team members, fellow employees, and government officials
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers
  • Ability to recognize opportunities and take independent action to resolve challenges
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with security peers and program management, team members, and work on a team with minimal oversight
  • Ability to effectively engage with team members on task completion

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00
