Responsibilities
- Administer security procedures (NISPOM) as they relate to operating in a classified environment, including:
- Personnel processing
- Media control
- Marking and control of documents/materials
- Security education
- Visitor control
- Destruction of classified material
- Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and proprietary test plans utilizing risk management principles.
- Support the testing, shipment, and storage of classified material and hardware.
- Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors and suppliers via a DD Form 254 or other contractual methods.
- Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.
- Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s).
- Respond to alarms at the Raytheon site within 1 hour when needed.
- Complete the DCSA required training as FSO for Possessing Facilities.
- Manage COMSEC as a Hand Receipt Holder from the parent COMSEC Account.
- Serve as the Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO) in the absence of the FSO.
- Escort individuals across business locations (valid driver’s license required).
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience with conducting or supporting security audits, inspections, or internal reviews in compliance with NISPOM.
- Active and transferable Secret clearance level required at time of application; ability to obtain Secret or higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in national security or a related field.
- Completed training with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) for FSO Possessing Facilities and/or the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE), including achievement of Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or equivalent.
- Prior experience with physical security, including working with cleared guard force.
- COMSEC experience.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
