GHX Industrial, a SunSource company, is a growing, dynamic organization with roots traced back to 1937. GHX today is a highly recognized value-added distributor and fabricator of industrial gaskets and hoses with offices nationwide. GHX’s customer base consists of large refining and petrochemical customers, upstream oil and gas service and supply companies, OEMs, and mineral and mining enterprises.

Training & Development

This is a 12-to-18-month development program designed for recent graduates interested in a career in industrial sales. You will receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and dedicated mentorship, preparing you to transition into a full-time sales role in an assigned territory. Training will occur in a GHX facility, likely in Houston. At completion of the training program, you will be transferred to your assigned sales territory. Relocation expenses will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured training at one of our sales hubs
  • Receive ongoing mentorship and professional development
  • Provided in-depth product training
  • Learn full cycle outside sales skills
  • Work alongside experienced Account Managers on joint sales calls
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Solve real-world customer problems through technical and product solutions

Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical training in a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, or related field (preferred)
  • Coursework, training or certifications in Fluid Power, Fluid Process, or Fluid Conveyance (preferred)
  • Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Mechanical interest and aptitude
  • Ability to start in Spring or Summer 2026
  • Willingness to relocate for training (12+ months) and for final placement at completion of program
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be outgoing, friendly, approachable and build relationships with peers and potential customers
