About the role
The Industrial Safety Instructor will perform a variety of technical instructional assignments and classroom preparation requiring in-depth knowledge of OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and a bridge between the two credentials. This position will also assist in all other instructor related duties to support the program and the Workforce Solutions department.

- Perform a variety of technical instructional assignments and classroom preparation requiring in-depth knowledge of OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and a bridge between the two credentials.
- Aid in all other instructor related duties to support the program and the Workforce Solutions department.
Requirements
- Current OSHA Authorized Construction and/or General Industry Outreach Trainer Card.
- Three years of Construction and/or General industry safety-related experience.
- Five years of teaching/conducting OSHA Industry Outreach Training Program classes (10 and 30-hour classes).
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a Career and Technical Education field preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of high level of student credential and institutional outcomes with the ability to deliver instruction in the classroom and in lab environments.
Skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to write syllabi and exams.
- Ability to develop learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments.

$35-$40/hr.
Schedule
Hours and days vary based on course offerings and enrollment. Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on an as needed, course-by-course, semester basis.
