Industrial Refrigeration Tech - Ammonia Specialist

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial refrigeration systems using ammonia. Conducts inspections, performs preventive maintenance, and troubleshoots complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain refrigeration systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration systems.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
• Document all maintenance activities and report findings to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in refrigeration and HVAC maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of refrigerants, including ammonia, and their handling.
• Experience with refrigeration system components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and heat exchangers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay

• $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Schedule
