Responsibilities

  • Perform all router steps on the work order required to complete a pump build which includes but is not limited to kitting, building sub-assemblies, non-destructive testing and crating of pumps.
  • Follow standard work in the production cell to conform to product design specifications and comply with all quality assurance procedures.
  • Perform TPM (total preventative maintenance) on department tools and equipment.
  • Hydro-test on required work order and record values on inspection sheet.
  • Complete Standard Work and 5S Checklist Daily.
  • Responsible for completing priorities set forth by manager for the day.
  • Comply with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety & continual improvement of OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) performance, registered standards, company policy, integrity, ethics, and legal compliance.
  • Practice lean manufacturing and continuous improvement in the daily work.
  • Participates actively in lean activities, including 5S and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Work overtime as required.

Requirements

  • Education: High school or equivalent GED.
  • Experience Manufacturing assembly experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience using hand inspection tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Experience using air and hand tools.
  • Forklift driving experience is preferred.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing work scope and learn new skills.
  • Ability to read and conform to company standards and building requirements.
  • Ability to work in a standing environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing instructions and read and interpret basic blueprint requirements.
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.

Pay and Schedule

  • Pay Range: $26.50 - $26.50 per hour.
  • Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
