What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and PLC-based systems
- Support Pregis packaging lines, networks, and connected hardware
- Use testing equipment, wiring diagrams, and software tools (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, IndraWorks, Exor)
- Install and maintain electrical wiring and equipment to NEC and company standards
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
- Escalate complex issues to technical support when needed
- Aid with equipment installation and commissioning
- Maintain accurate documentation, service reports, and training records
- Follow all safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain parts inventory when required
- Work overtime or weekends as business needs demand
What You Bring
- Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, electronic, PLC, industrial machinery)
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical prints
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive teamwork mindset
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Work Environment
- Indoor manufacturing setting
- Exposure to moving machinery
- Heat, humidity, and noise levels above 85 dBA
- PPE required
- Frequent standing and stooping
- Occasional lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
- Occasional sitting or computer work
Schedule
- Full-time
- Night Shift: 6PM–6AM
- Overtime as needed
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate degree in Electrical Maintenance or Electrical Engineering preferred
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience (or equivalent hands-on experience)
