Industrial Plant Crew Superintendent

Safety-sensitive position requiring travel and overtime as requested.

About the role

Perform commercial waterproofing, painting, and decal repair on industrial mobile equipment. Work involves exterior maintenance using lifts, swing-stage platforms, sandblast equipment, and scaffolding. Load/unload heavy materials, clean job sites, and follow directions from supervisors and skilled tradesmen. Continued education and growth opportunities are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Operate power washer and sandblaster (experience preferred).
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance teams, and leadership to deliver cost-effective projects.
• Remove and replace old decals and paint coatings (experience preferred).
• Operate swing stages and suspended work platforms (experience preferred).
• Paint using rollers and airless spray equipment (experience preferred).
• Frequently lift, carry, and handle tools and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
• Work effectively both in a team and independently.
• Be receptive to training and follow directions from supervisors.
• Work at heights above multiple stories.
• Collaborate courteously and cooperatively with others.
• Perform varied tasks that may change with work conditions.
• Work within defined accuracy standards.
• Work in diverse weather conditions, including temperatures above 85°F and below 40°F.
• Perform all other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Accurately and thoroughly record time for the Industrial Paint Crew.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to effectively lead skilled labor personnel.
• Use arms and hands to reach, handle, and manipulate objects.
• Perform physical labor and other strenuous tasks.
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
• Good vision and hearing (naturally or with correction).
