Industrial Piping & Welding LLC (IPW) is hiring an experienced and safety-focused Industrial Pipe Welder to support mechanical and industrial piping projects throughout the Wasatch Front. This role involves high-precision TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems in mechanical rooms, boiler systems, and industrial facilities. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, can meet B31.3 code standards, and works well as part of a team in demanding job site environments.

Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) pipe welding
- Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper piping systems
- Produce welds that meet B31.3 code requirements and pass X-ray inspection
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Prepare pipe and materials for welding, including fit-up and tack welding
- Operate welding equipment and power tools safely
- Work closely with pipefitters and field crews
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years of industrial pipe welding experience
- Strong proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding
- Ability to pass a B31.3 weld test to X-ray standards
- Solid blueprint and welding symbol interpretation skills
- High attention to detail and quality
- Physically able to lift materials and work in industrial environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience welding in mechanical rooms or boiler systems
- Background in pipe fabrication and fitting

Pay
$38.00–$42.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Location
Projects are located along the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake City to Syracuse, UT). Travel to nearby job sites is required.
