About the role
Coating Specialists/Industrial Painters prepare metal surfaces and apply standard finishes—including paint and metalizing—to machined parts for complex bridge and transportation projects.
Responsibilities
- Work from prints, specification tables, and adjustable layout and measuring instruments
- Apply specified coatings to steel bridge beams and cross members
- Perform sandblasting, powder coating, and spray-gun painting
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous painting experience, especially with a spray gun
- Sandblasting or powder coating experience is a plus
