Position Details
Pay Rate and Schedule: The position includes a wage of $26.98 /hour (this includes a base wage of $25.73 plus the additional $1.25 /hour shift differential) and a comprehensive day-one benefits program and on-site health and wellness!
Shift: Openings available on 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday 10:00 p.m. - 06:00 a.m. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in equipment/automotive paint processing, booth/spray paint process, or a paint related certificate or certified trade school/technical degree in paint related field.
Previous Caterpillar Paving Painting experiences.
Knowledge of paint properties.
Knowledge of Caterpillar standards for paint quality (1E 2001 specs for paint).
Ability to read blueprints/engineering drawings.
Leadership experience.
Heavy crane equipment experience.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Experience using paint tools including cup paint gun, sanders and buffers.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Exposure to paint fumes, catalyst fumes, isopropanol fumes and wash fumes.
Noise levels of 85db or greater.
Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes and hoists.
Lift up to 35lbs frequently.
Stand for a minimum of 8 hour shifts with minimal breaks.
Work in environment with frequently changing temperatures.
Exposure to magnets that may impact medical devices.
Kneel, squat, and crawl on knees.
Work in tight spaces.
Repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling rotating.
Use of fine motor skills.
Use of paint and wash tools including cup paint gun, sanders and buffers etc.
