Industrial Mechanic

E.L. Harvey & Sons has an opening for an Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Westborough, MA.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm

Pay

$30.00 to $35.00 per hour. Earning potential of $90,000+ annually with available overtime and bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor to major repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Perform inspections, diagnosis, and repair of powertrain, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts, and man-lifts.
• Perform service calls for plant issues and breakdowns.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Focus on the overall health and maintenance of the plant and all supporting machine centers, including inspections, diagnosing, and issuing repairs to mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, grinders, shredders, and conveyor systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field as an industrial or diesel mechanic.
• Proficiency in a variety of diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance, and repair.
• Basic tool set.
• Hydraulic experience is a plus.
