Pay

Starting at $32.17 per hour plus shift differential for 3rd shift. Consistent wage increases are provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain can lines, perform and document quality checks and measurements, requiring supervisory assistance only in unusual quality or operating problems
• Take full responsibility for the quality of the product and line efficiency
• Properly diagnose mechanical and quality problems, determine the necessary repairs, and restore malfunctioning equipment back to service with minimum delay
• Handle pallets, tooling, barrels, boxes, and cartons as required
• Record product and equipment inspection to ensure quality production
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
• Adhere to all safety regulations and report any hazards that may compromise a safe workplace
• Work closely with supervisors and fellow employees on improvement teams to uncover and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost control advancements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman Mechanic certification
• 2+ years as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing environment
