Industrial Mechanic

Location: Amesbury, MA 01913 | Full-Time | Overnight shift: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues with motors, conveyors, pumps, packaging equipment, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial controls.
• Repair, rebuild, and install production machinery.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Read blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Complete maintenance work orders and documentation.
• Follow OSHA, GMP, food safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Work with production teams to improve equipment reliability.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or trade school is a plus.
• Food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

$30.00–$40.00/hour + overtime.

Schedule

Four 10.5-hour shifts per week (must be available to work at least one weekend day).
