About the role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of mechanical tasks to ensure our equipment and facilities are safe, clean, and functional. This position offers tremendous growth potential. Working knowledge of drive shafts, bearings, gearing, mechanical belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical maintenance tasks, including equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Install new equipment.
• Conduct equipment inspections to proactively identify potential issues.
• Respond promptly to mechanical requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of mechanical activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience reading diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience working with bearings, gears, and shafts with precise tolerances.
• Experience servicing and installing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects (minimum 30 pounds).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
